Description Another hard-to find part, these Chrome plated Zinc “Standard” shower escutcheons were used for 30 years or so and ended in early ’60’s. OD measures 3″ and it stands 1 7/16″ tall. Over time, the original metal reacted with water and slowly corroded away. Before now, all one could do was replace the valve assembly, and that usually meant a whole new enclosure. Not anymore!
