Description This union nut was used on Standard-brand in-wall tub and/or shower valve bodies to tie the union to the body itself. Used in both 8″ and 11″ centers, two or three handle valves, and from the late 1920’s through the late 1950’s. If you salvaged an old “Standard” tub shower valve with cool trim and it’s got an oddball thread on the inlet side, this is the nut. Actual union part sold separately.
