Description This is the union part that will allow you to attach a 1/2″ pipe nipple to an early vintage Standard in wall tub shower valve body. This union would have been used from the early 1920’s through the early 1940’s (we think). There is an early version and a later version and the difference is found in the taper that’s located on the body itself. Your valve body MUST match the photo shown in the gallery. Sold by the each. This is the early version.
